Galen Rose lives with her very patient and supportive husband, a teenage son determined to give her more gray hair, and 3.5 cats. When she is not touching up the gray or chasing out the wildlife the cats bring in, she can be found imagining and writing more adventures for her characters.
I live in Upwey, a very leafy suburb of outer Melbourne. I can hear most Melbournians say, where? Think Puffing Billy, the hills and inexcusably steep driveways and you’re there. We have a house with room for the kids to play in the backyard, the cat to sleep wherever, and the husband to have his back shed (well, actually the shed is more like the storeroom, but let’s not go there.)
I love romance because it adds so much to the story. If I read a story and there’s no romance, there isn’t much to keep me in the story. Everyone needs a little romance to take them away.
