One of the things I love about my job is finding out what parts of the novels are made up, and which parts have come from the author’s own life. In the case of Alysia S. Knight, author of Letting Love Win, the answer is rather … unusual:
“Like Kiley, my first Pap smear was done in the dark with a flashlight because the power went out, and the doctor was afraid he wouldn’t get me back in because I had chickened out and left earlier that day and came back. It’s okay if you want to laugh at me.”
It’s the premise of a charming contemporary romance that I know you’ll want to read!
